KinkiLube ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. We operate from the Netherlands and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Order information: name, shipping address, email, phone (optional), payment method (processed by Shopify Payments, Klarna, PayPal, Stripe, or other providers — we never see your card details).
  • Account information if you create one: email, password (hashed), order history.
  • Browsing data: pages visited, referring URL, IP address, browser and device info. Collected via cookies and tracking pixels (Shopify Analytics, Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) to improve the site and measure ads.
  • Marketing data: if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email and any preferences you tell us about.

How we use it

  • To fulfill your orders and provide customer support.
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates, and account emails.
  • To send marketing emails if you opted in (you can unsubscribe anytime).
  • To improve our website and products.
  • To prevent fraud and meet legal obligations.

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with:

  • Shopify (our e-commerce platform).
  • Payment providers (Shopify Payments, Klarna, PayPal, etc.).
  • Shipping carriers (PostNL, DHL, DPD via Sendcloud) to deliver your order.
  • Email provider (Klaviyo) to send transactional and marketing emails.
  • Analytics providers (Google, Meta) for aggregated traffic measurement.
  • Law enforcement when legally required.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. You can also object to processing or withdraw consent. Email info@kinkilube.com with any request and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use functional cookies (required for the cart and checkout to work) and analytics/marketing cookies (only with your consent via the cookie banner).

Data retention

We keep order data for 7 years for tax reasons. Account data is kept until you delete your account. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe.
